Poole Town Centre bike shop
A bicycle shop on the first floor of Poole Dolphin Shopping Centre? NO, they said it would never work. That was Feb 1999 and we are still here, going from strength to strength. Cycle Paths is a family owned bike shop servicing Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne and Dorset. During the past decade our business has evolved along with the cycle industry and needs of our customers.
Major Bike Brands in Poole Showroom
We have done your homework for you in many ways, as we constantly look at the manufacturers around the world and we are confident the brands we stock offer best quality together with value for money. Our large modern showroom stocks bikes from Giant, GT, Mongoose, Felt, Cube, Ridgeback and Bianchi. We also have a large range of folding bikes from Brompton, Dahon and Ridgeback, plus BMX bikes, children’s bikes and Sportive bikes with road riding now more popular than ever in the UK. Long distance (challenge) rides are regularly over subscribed up and down the country. We stock some great bikes for these rides and have developed a custom bike fitting system to ensure correct (comfortable and efficient) set up. We do not believe a computer should give you your bike set up! Feedback from customers who have experienced our service has been excellent.
Bike maintenance is an important part of the business and we are a Shimano service centre, with two Cy-Tech trained and qualified mechanics up to level three.
We also stock all the accessories you should ever need (there is always an exception!) including clothing, helmets, shoes etc.
Cycle to work scheme
In recent years the ‘cycle to work scheme’ has proved a real winner in Poole. Most large employers in the area have seen the benefits of staff cycling to work. Health, fitness, and the environment are all considerations but freeing up car parking spaces and punctuality are added attractions. Employees save up to 40% getting more people than ever on bikes.
All in all we like to think we have things covered but we always like feedback from customers so if you have any thoughts / ideas / requests just let us know.
